After months of collaborative work between the excellent editorial team at the British Columbia Medical Journal and SportsCardiologyBC, dates have been set for the publication of a two-part Sports Cardiology themed issue. It will be guest edited by SportsCardiologyBC Medical Directors Dr. Saul Isserow and Dr. Brett Heilbron.
The issue will focus on the rapidly evolving sub-specialization of Sports Cardiology, and discuss relevant topics such as sudden cardiac death, exercise dose-response, cardiovascular screening and the benefits of physical activity.
Part 1 will be available online at www.bcmj.org on April 1st, and Part 2 will be published in early May. PDFs will be made available on our website.
